North American manager to Inti-Illimani since 1988, GAM/SIMONDS, INC assumes world-wide managerial role in partnership with the home office in Santiago, Chile. GAMI/SIMONDS will work closely with the Santiago office to coordinate all concert tours, develop new performance markets, orchestral and film score commissions, the creation of a foundation to preserve the ensemble's musical legacy and to research and develop a long term residency program at a university in North America.
