In his own words:
James Campbell on Festival of the Sound 2011...

“Isn't it nice to know that in this increasingly busy, noisy world, we can go to a place where everything starts in silence and where time waits while great minds, past and present, speak to us through music? The Charles W. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts becomes our aural sanctuary as the wisdom of the great composers speaks to us through your friends, the performers, who themselves are in awe of the greatness they are encountering in the music...Welcome to the 32nd edition of the Festival of the Sound.”

Jim is also recording Gilliland's concerto, Dreaming of the Masters, in Edmonton. He has recently completed a tour with • Spirit '20. Spirit 20 features a collaboration with 5 fellow musicians exploring music of the roaring 20's in new and innovative ways. Jim continues to explore and expand musically, including various collabortive efforts, such as his work with the New Zealand String Quartet.
